We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.
Mrs Rita Nkrumah is my name. Am a young graduate teacher working with GES at Accra, Amasaman M/A '2' Basic. I come from Seikwa in the Brong Ahafo Region.
I was touched to help the poor and needy children in various government schools and school drop out children since l have the chance to know more about their problems in the classroom. I decided to come out with an NGO named after my beloved late mother Nketia Charity, it has been there for years but was incorporated in 2019.
What l want to achieve is to build these children spiritually and academically to become prominent people in future for our motherland Ghana. It's our aim to put up schools in Brong Ahafo and across the whole nation for poor and needy children to have access to quality education freely.
Education has the power to transform the lives of children, now and for generations to come. The realisation of many other rights depends on access to quality education as it has a multiplier effect bringing lasting benefits to all.
Given this panorama, we base our actions on the realization of our main objective: that all children have access to a basic education of good quality, especially those who are in the most vulnerable conditions, Currently 75 school children are benefiting from it which includes feeding.
